  1. Our commitment

At Press Box Publishing Ltd, we recognise our responsibility to reduce the environmental impact of our publishing activities and to promote responsible practices throughout our supply chain.

We are committed to responsible printing, the use of recycled paper across all our publications, and supporting tree-planting initiatives through our donations to More:Trees.

Our sustainability approach focuses on practical environmental action, responsible supplier relationships and transparent communication of our environmental commitments.

  1. Responsible printing and ethical suppliers

Press Box Publishing Ltd seeks to work with ethical and environmentally responsible printing partners who share our commitment to sustainable production.

We consider environmental management, responsible sourcing, waste reduction and ethical business practices when selecting and reviewing our printing suppliers.

We work with printing firms such as Bishops Printers and Buxton Press, where their services meet the requirements of our publications. We aim to maintain supplier relationships that support our environmental objectives and provide suitable, high-quality printing solutions.

Our approach includes:

  • Working with responsible printing partners.
  • Considering suppliers’ environmental policies and relevant certifications.
  • Supporting responsible paper sourcing and production methods.
  • Reviewing opportunities to reduce production waste and resource consumption.
  • Ensuring that environmental claims relating to suppliers and printed products are accurate and supported by appropriate information.
  1. Recycled paper across all publications

We use recycled paper on all Press Box Publishing Ltd publications.

This is a core part of our sustainability commitment and reflects our intention to reduce our reliance on virgin paper resources and support more responsible material use within the publishing process.

We will continue to:

  • Use recycled paper across our publications.
  • Work with printing suppliers to ensure suitable recycled paper specifications are selected.
  • Consider paper efficiency during publication design and production.
  • Review opportunities to minimise paper waste and unnecessary overproduction.
  • Maintain communication with suppliers regarding paper sourcing and production practices.
  • Recycle any surplus programmes, publications and packaging.

We recognise that responsible paper use is one element of our overall environmental impact and will continue to review our production practices accordingly.

  1. More:Trees donations

Press Box Publishing Ltd supports tree-planting initiatives through our donations to More:Trees.

Our arrangement is linked to customer purchases of selected programmes. When customers purchase qualifying programmes, trees are planted as part of our environmental commitment.

These donations allow us to connect our publishing activities with practical environmental action and gives customers the opportunity to contribute to tree-planting initiatives through their purchases.

We are committed to:

  • Supporting tree planting through purchases of selected programmes.
  • Maintaining our relationship with More:Trees.
  • Using verified information provided by More:Trees when communicating our tree-planting impact.
  • Sharing our environmental contribution with customers and stakeholders in a transparent and responsible manner.
  • Continuing to explore ways to strengthen the environmental impact of our publishing activities.

Our 2025 tree-planting contribution

In 2025, Press Box Publishing Ltd planted more than 500 trees through our More:Trees arrangement.

The verified figures and supporting information relating to our tree-planting activity can be found through More:Trees.

We will refer to More:Trees available records and reporting when communicating our planting figures and future environmental contributions.

Tree planting is part of our wider sustainability approach. We recognise that it does not, by itself, eliminate the environmental impact of paper production, printing, distribution or other business activities.

  1. Reducing waste and improving resource efficiency

We seek to reduce waste and improve resource efficiency throughout our publishing and production processes.

Where practical, we will:

  • Work with our printing partners to identify opportunities to reduce production waste.
  • Consider print quantities carefully to minimise unnecessary surplus.
  • Review publication design and production methods for efficient material use.
  • Encourage responsible recycling of paper and other production materials.
  • Consider packaging and distribution practices that reduce unnecessary material consumption.
  • Assess opportunities to improve resource efficiency as our business develops.

We will balance environmental considerations with the quality, functionality and commercial requirements of our publications.

  1. Environmental transparency and responsible claims

Press Box Publishing Ltd is committed to communicating our sustainability efforts accurately and responsibly.

We will:

  • Clearly communicate that recycled paper is used across all our publications.
  • Ensure that claims relating to our printing partners and paper sourcing are appropriately supported.
  • Use verified information from More:Trees when reporting tree-planting figures.
  • Avoid suggesting that tree planting alone makes our publications carbon neutral or eliminates their environmental impact.
  • Review environmental communications to ensure they accurately reflect our current practices and partnerships.

We aim to provide customers, suppliers and stakeholders with clear and reliable information about our sustainability commitments.

  1. Stakeholder engagement

We recognise that environmental responsibility is a shared effort involving our employees, suppliers, customers and partners.

We will encourage:

  • Awareness of our recycled paper commitment.
  • Responsible decisions in publishing and production.
  • Open communication with printing suppliers.
  • Customer awareness of the More tree-planting arrangement.
  • Ongoing consideration of sustainability opportunities across our business.

We value relationships with organisations and individuals who support our environmental objectives.
