Khalid Khalifa Juma Al Nabooda Al Suwadi was born into a prominent and traditional Emirati family. As the only son then, he was expected to follow into his father’s business running the Al Nabooda Group of companies. Whilst he did, it was to be alongside his greatest passion, that of breeding and racing Purebred Arabian horses, which he has done with outstanding success.

Khalid Khalifa Al Nabooda has championed Arabian racehorse breeding in the Emirates for over thirty years. Succeeding against all expectations, he has bred the winner of its most prestigious race for Arabians, the Dubai Kahayla Classic, twice. He has also achieved the unique feat of being champion owner on six occasions and is both the only private owner to achieve this feat and the only owner to win just with Purebred Arabian horses.

Victory from the Desert is his long-awaited testimony, a combination of both autobiography and a manual of recommendations which he hopes may ease the route to success of those that follow on behind him.
